The Greyhound Board of Directors has hired Michael Gilner as the team's head coach for the 2009 season. Gilner is an experienced baseball coach with stints in the Northwoods and Coastal Plains leagues. He is currently an assistant coach for the University of Evansville Purple Aces baseball squad.
